Exams and The Pain of Study
Study the gruelling, painstakingly, boring and tiring thing us students must do at the end of each year to be able to regurgitate useless facts onto a piece of paper an old fart reads says to himself "o that’s interesting" marks wrong then goes onto the other thousands of papers he doesn’t care about. Yes this people is what we must do to proceed in life and make our path successful.
“Form into ranks young maggots and prepare for inspection!” a line my math teacher said before throwing an eraser at me and telling me.
“you shall never succeed unless you study.” I look back on that day and see that he was not only old, ugly annoying and now on my shiv list for throwing that rubber at me but also right. This old man had a point and that point was that we as students must cram for our end of school year exams or forever be destined for packing shopping bags at the local supermarket. Not that theres anything wrong with that, it’s just not my aspired career. You see if we do not get the grades we do not get where we want to be so like ants preparing for a flood. We prepare ourselves spending long hours staring at countless sheets of paper memorising the ink letters which are eventually burnt onto the back of our eyes from time spent too long staring at the words. I believe this is an unhealthy habit. One year i got shingles from studying to much. If thats not a good reason to lay off the stress then I don’t know what is.
I believe I have a solution. It may be drastic, far fetched and even pointless but it’s so crazy it just might work. We boycott exams. Every student go on strike and don’t attend there exams tell the teachers. To hell with you and burn your books, snap your rulers and declare a state of cram freedom. I take inspiration from Mel Gibson in braveheart when I say “we fight for freedom” for study, for exams, for the good of me getting shingles we as students should strike! The establishment can’t make us sit our exams and every student missing out will call for an international revise of exams on students. This is a call for liberation to have an overwhelming liberation on all us students.
So what do you say? Follow I and take a stand against exams? Or conform and follow the satanic teachers symbolizing the follow of hell’s messenger himself? I say nay! Follow I and be a liberationist to the common man! Don’t go to your exams and be a warrior like myself!
This here last sentence is just saying for you not to give up on exams and this has just been a fun little short to inspire the rebellion of one’s self.
